The 2025 edition of Watches and Wonders Geneva has officially etched its name in horological history, with record-breaking attendance and a palpable buzz that reverberated well beyond the walls of the Salon. Drawing over 55,000 visitors, including 6,000 retailers, 1,600 journalists, and 23,000 public ticket holders, this year’s edition confirmed what insiders already knew: this is no longer just an industry event—it’s a cultural moment.
A vibrant showcase of innovation and tradition, the Salon witnessed a dazzling array of new releases, many of which pushed technical boundaries and storytelling finesse to new heights. From sleek, skeletonized movements that reveal the heart of haute horlogerie, to refined women’s timepieces sparkling with jewelry-grade brilliance, the diversity and creativity on display affirmed the vitality of Swiss watchmaking today. Heritage was honored, icons were reimagined, and bold statements were made.
President of the Watches and Wonders Geneva Foundation, Cyrille Vigneron, summed up the spirit best: “The event gives each Maison the opportunity to visually express their own universe… to share a common passion.”
Beyond the Salon, “In The City” brought watchmaking to life across Geneva, with sold-out workshops, guided tours, and a lively Watchmaking Village that welcomed thousands—including nearly 10,000 young people discovering the art and skill of the métier.
Global celebrities like Simone Ashley, Usain Bolt, Roger Federer, and Hans Zimmer added a touch of star power, while digital engagement soared with the hashtag #watchesandwonders2025 reaching a stunning 700 million people globally.
Watches and Wonders Geneva has evolved into a definitive global stage for horological passion—uniting the past, present, and future of watchmaking in the most spectacular of ways.
