St. Peter at Sunset Festival offers its audience a multi-faceted program, embracing both soft sounds and powerful vocals as well as crashing guitars, basses and drums. Up-and-coming artists as well as already established musicians are invited every year to the small village of Kestenholz to perform during the magical Swiss summer sunsets.
On the 6th of July 2019, two charismatic young Brits entertained the audience with their majestic voices and musical talents – Tom Odell and James Morrison.
The piano man and singer-songwriter Tom Odell, winner of the Brits Critics’ Choice Award in 2013, is touring the world at the moment with his new album Jubilee Road. Hits like Another Love and Hold Me as well as newly released songs were warmly met by standing ovations.
James Morrison, an English singer-songwriter and a guitarist from Rugby, is one of Britain’s biggest male solo artists, boasting more than 5 million albums sold worldwide. It was quite atmospheric – the singer’s hits Give Me Something and Broken Strings moved the St. Peter Festival’s audience sing and dance along under the moonlight.
