The Japanese at Gütsch x N25 Caviar Pop Up

Embark on a truly extraordinary dining experience with The Japanese at Gütsch on 2400 m, a Michelin-starred gem nestled in the heart of the Uri mountains. Perched high above the Andermatt region, this culinary masterpiece by twin chefs Dominik Sato and Fabio Toffolon combines the artistry of Japanese cuisine with the breathtaking backdrop of the Swiss Alps.

Your journey begins with a ride on the Gütsch Express gondola, soaring to an altitude of 2400 meters in under 15 minutes. As you ascend, the majestic alpine scenery unfolds, setting the stage for an unforgettable meal. The restaurant’s elegant sushi and sashimi creations, awarded one Michelin star and 16 GaultMillau points, showcase the twins’ mastery of Japanese flavors and techniques, brought to life with a unique alpine twist.

A Pop-Up of Indulgence

This winter, the twins are adding an exciting new chapter to their mountain retreat. From December 14, 2024, to February 17, 2025, the terrace of The Japanese at Gütsch will transform into an exclusive N25 Caviar pop-up, offering a harmonious fusion of premium caviar and fine Japanese cuisine.

As ambassadors of N25 Caviar, Dominik and Fabio will craft dishes that elevate traditional Japanese ingredients with the luxurious touch of caviar, creating a sensory experience that is both innovative and indulgent. This limited-time event offers guests the chance to savor world-class cuisine while surrounded by the pristine beauty of snow-capped peaks and crisp alpine air.
