Unusually hot summer temperatures in Switzerland were just perfect for the open-air music festivals!
Summer Days Festival Arbon in the canton of Thurgau was the one I decided to attend for the first time. Here are the event highlights:
- Location: the festival takes place on the lake Bodensee. During the day festivalgoers swim in the lake, have fun on the boats and spend time at the water enjoying the sunset in the evening
- Food and drinks: many stands with international street food choices
- A convenient way of payment and ticket control: a cashless system is implemented so that one can have both the entry ticket and money on his or her one festival chip
- National and international stars like Status Quo, Rea Garvey, Ellie Goulding, Tom Odell; Swiss bands Hecht, Pegasus, Stress and others.
I enjoyed the most the performance of Pegasus (their interaction with the audience was amazing), Tom Odell, Rea Garvey and had fun dancing under the electronic sounds of Ellie Goulding’s music.
