This year we were blessed with perfect sunny weather on a Friday afternoon when the famous annual Rive Gauche Summer Party took place on the beautiful terrace of the luxury hotel Baur Au Lac.
All dressed up in chic, elegant outfits, guests could enjoy a wide range of entertainment during the event. On the red carpet in front of the hotel one could watch performance artists in extraordinary costumes and take pictures next to the photo wall.
In the beautifully decorated garden, overlooking the lake and the Alps, there were numerous food stands with delicious treats like pancakes with black caviar, grilled meat dishes, a great variety of cheese and charcuterie, Asian specialties and lots of champagne and wine of course. Everything was very delicious, in the superb tradition of Rive Gauche‘s “fine casual dining”. Towards evening, performers sang and danced on the stage, warming up the crowd and encouraging guests to dance and have fun.
From 23:00 onwards everyone was invited to the dessert room which featured amazing table décor. At midnight three dance floors were opened with live music and DJ sets. The music was great and I was happy to see people having lots of fun, dancing, chatting and networking. Rive Gauche Summer Party is definitely worth trying out!
