On September 2nd, 2024, Mode Suisse hosted its annual Mode Suisse & Friends fashion show at Kunsthaus Zürich, once again bringing together Switzerland’s vibrant fashion community.
The show featured 22 designers, who presented their latest collections and projects, transforming the day into a condensed fashion week experience. On the September afternoon, guests could enjoy three separate runway shows and live performances.
Mode Suisse highlighted the impressive array of collections, ranging from sensual silhouettes (aporeei) to gothic, grunge looks (MANIEGA), and maximalist, color-popping pieces (Ba Si) to futuristic evening wear (Sarah Bounab).
Newcomers like EMMBER, regular participants – including EnSoie, who invited guests to the journey through the house’s past collections – and design students all had the opportunity to showcase their talents within the inspiring setting of the Zürich Art Museum, drawing in fashion enthusiasts, press members, and stylish guests.
As the day came to a close, maison blanche by Yannik Zamboni took the spotlight as this year’s winner of the Miele x Mode Suisse Award for Positive Impact, celebrated for its environmental commitment.
Additionally, guests had the chance to explore and shop exclusive pieces from designers, like newcomer THADEN, in the adjoining showroom, creating an interactive and engaging atmosphere where attendees could mingle with the designers and directly engage with their work.
The event was a true celebration of creativity, innovation, and the future of Swiss fashion!
