In celebration of another year of ocean conservation, luxury skincare brand La Mer hosted a lavish event at the Alex Hotel in Zurich for the launch of its new, limited-edition Blue Heart Crème de la Mer moisturizer. Guests enjoyed a boat ride from the city center to the party on the hotel’s beautiful lakeside terrace. They were greeted with a stunning view of the lake, cold champagne and product presentation.
La Mer is known for its critically acclaimed Crème de la Mer moisturizer infused with the company’s trademark Miracle Broth. The special ingredient in Miracle Broth is giant sea kelp, which is carefully fermented then used to craft the cell-renewing elixir. Crème de la Mer Moisturizer is a rich cream suitable for daily use on combination or dry skin. Using its rejuvenating Miracle Broth and antioxidant-rich Lime Tea, the cream soothes dry skin with healing moisture while providing daily protection and promoting natural repair. Continued use leaves skin feeling firmer and more radiant with fewer lines and wrinkles.
Ocean conservation is at the heart of La Mer, with 90 percent of their sea plant ingredients being responsibly sourced in 2021. The ocean’s gift of giant sea kelp inspired La Mer to give back to the ocean, leading to the creation of the La Mer Blue Heart Oceans Fund. This fund aims to help fellow ocean conservation groups achieve their goals. One such group is GreenWave – a regenerative ocean farming organization – whose pledge to plant one million acres of regenerative crops is being supported by La Mer.
The launch of the limited-edition Crème de la Mer Moisturizer design, inspired by the beauty of the night sea, is a testament to the company’s dedication to ocean protection. It is a celebration of the ocean and its healing properties, as well as the products La Mer can create using the magic from the ocean. The sparkling lakeside was reminiscent of the calm sea, making it the perfect venue to reveal the beautiful new design for the miracle moisturizer while learning about the great conservation efforts of La Mer.
