Il Sereno, the iconic five-star boutique hotel on the shores of Lake Como, has officially reopened for the 2025 season, unveiling a refined collection of new experiences that blend sophisticated design, high-end hospitality, and immersive local charm. Frequently ranked among Europe’s finest resorts, including accolades from Travel + Leisure and Condé Nast Traveler, Il Sereno continues to set the benchmark for modern luxury in Italy.
The new season brings an elevated focus on lifestyle experiences, including enhanced vintage car and yacht offerings. Guests are invited to explore the region’s cinematic scenery behind the wheel of a classic Fiat 500 or on board a sleek, self-driven Ernesto Riva yacht — both exclusive to Il Sereno. These curated adventures capture the timeless glamour of Lake Como from both land and water.
Culinary highlights return with renewed flair at the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant, Sereno Al Lago. Executive Chef Raffaele Lenzi introduces his new seasonal concept, A Modo Mio, a menu celebrating vegetable-forward dishes and innovative interpretations of traditional Italian flavors. With its lakeside setting and bold gastronomic vision, the restaurant remains a destination in its own right.
Beyond cuisine and exploration, Il Sereno pampers guests with its signature wellness experiences. The serene Valmont spa, perched directly on the lake, offers exclusive treatments that reflect the hotel’s holistic approach to well-being. Paired with the stunning infinity pool and discreet, personalized service, the hotel is a true sanctuary of tranquility.
With just 40 design-forward suites crafted by architect Patricia Urquiola, Il Sereno promises a private and immersive stay, where every detail reflects understated elegance and a deep connection to its surroundings.
