Geneva Watch Days 2024 wrapped up with record-breaking success, featuring 52 participating brands and nearly 1,500 industry professionals, including 650 media and 250 retailers, all gathering on the shores of Lake Geneva. The event, open to the public for five days, saw 13,800 visitors at the “Rotonde du Mont Blanc” Pavilion.
Attendees admired over 100 new timepieces across various themed showcases, enjoyed guided tours by experts from the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie. The event also featured nine symposia on industry topics, with the new Glass Box space hosting around 100 attendees per session.
Special events like a Saturday brunch, informal breakfasts with brand CEOs, and ongoing activities from partners such as the Horological Society of New York and Horopedia enriched the experience. A highlight was the charity auction on September 1st, organized with Phillips and Bacs & Russo, raising CHF 108,000 for the Pierre Amstutz Fund, supporting apprentices at the Geneva Watchmaking School.
Beyond the impressive numbers, Geneva Watch Days offered a relaxed, decentralized format in the heart of summer, fostering a unique and enjoyable atmosphere for both watchmaking professionals and enthusiasts.
