Along the shores of Lake Geneva, set against the backdrop of the towering Alps, Fairmont Le Montreux Palace has been enchanting guests since 1906 with its stunning Belle Époque architecture. Featuring 236 elegantly appointed rooms and suites, the hotel is renowned for its exceptional hospitality. Visitors can indulge in five restaurants and bars, enjoy 24-hour in-room dining, and relax at the luxurious Fairmont Spa.
The 5-star hotel also offers plenty of dining options. The Montreux Jazz Café impresses with its generous cuisine, expertly paired with the finest regional wines and enticingly named aperitifs. The Café, adorned with memorabilia and personal items from Claude Nobs, the founder of the Montreux Jazz Festival, offers the perfect setting for a relaxed gathering, all while immersing guests in the festival’s one-of-a-kind ambiance.
Not far away, Funky Claude’s Bar offers live music and a tempting selection of craft cocktails. The cuisine is both inventive and relaxed, providing a unique dining experience in an atmosphere rich with musical history. Once known as Harry’s Bar, this iconic venue pays tribute to Nobs with fiery jam sessions that embody the spirit of Montreux.
The hotel has completed the first phase of its major renovation, which included the refurbishment of 60 lake-view rooms and upgrades to a third of the lake-facing facade. Led by cm-DESIGN, the project draws inspiration from the beauty of Lake Geneva and the hotel’s historic architecture. The newly renovated rooms feature a tranquil color palette inspired by the lake, with cream, blue, gold, and pink accents.
Future phases of renovation, scheduled through 2026, will continue transforming the hotel, further enhancing its status as a luxury destination.
