For the 43rd time the Swiss hot air balloon festival takes place at Château-d’Oex. As the alpine capital of hot air ballooning, Château-d’Œx has been welcoming balloons from around the world for over 40 years now. The colourful festival takes place over 9 days and includes night shows, balloon flights, sporting competitions and a children’s day.
More than 70 balloons from many different countries will benefit from the special microclimate and climb into the sky.
