I describe my personal style as classy and elegant, which is why I enjoy Margolina, a Zurich-based fashion brand specializing in women’s blouses and shirts. Margolina was founded by Olga Margolina, a Russian-born living in Switzerland.
What I love most about Margolina’s blouses and shirts is the thoughtful design. The pieces are both elegant thanks to the ultra feminine details, but also casual due to the well-thought cut. The soft and fine cotton is a pleasure to wear because of its luxurious texture.
Each piece has a unique touch – the breast pocket is decorated with French lace and a natural pearl, and all of the shirts come with pretty cufflinks. The cut of the shirts and the pastel colors are great, and even better is the fact that the shirts are dressy enough for the office or business dinner, but can also be incorporated into one’s casual wardrobe, you could take them with you for a weekend journey, for example. The Margolina blouse and shirt collections are limited editions, which keeps the pieces unique and allows one to stand out. I am looking forward to seeing further limited collections of Margolina brand. Olga disclosed me her plans in a private talk, so more surprises to come!
