On a November evening just after Zürich changed into its festive attire – switching on the streetlights, opening up the Christmas markets, and decorating the trees – the chic Bulgari boutique on the Bahnhofstrasse celebrated the last evening of the Afterwork series of 2023.
SwissGlam had the pleasure of hosting its own guests at the party, opening up the glamorous, exclusive world of Bulgari to those invited. The evening was dedicated to women, celebrating the fact that Bulgari’s creations are made for the very ones who express the strength, power, and femininity characteristic of the brand.
Darya von Bergen opened the ladies’ night wearing a wonderful Serpenti necklace and a sparkling dress by the Swiss designer Nana Gotti.
Bulgari brand director of Switzerland, Roberto Marino, talked about the heritage of the Italian brand, in particular, 75 years of Serpenti – Bulgari’s world-famous snake-inspired range – disclosing the fact that Serpenti creations were inspired by the jewels of Cleopatra, designed in Rome of more than 2000 years ago. No stranger to the past itself, Roberto mentioned that next year, the brand will celebrate 140 years of history itself.
The tale of Bulgari’s Serpenti began in the late ’40s in the worlds of watches and jewellery, later expanding into the universe of leather goods. Over the decades, the iconic brand successfully interpreted and re-interpreted the spirit of every age, becoming a symbol of female empowerment from generation to generation.
After everyone raised the glass for the festive season, the enchantment began. The guests discovered high-quality jewelry, iconic collections, and watches; many photo moments were captured in the VIP room, and the exquisite catering and drinks service and the live music added to the overall enjoyable and glamorous atmosphere of the event.
