Art On Ice 2019 was full of surprises, amazingly talented participants, fantastic costumes, incredible light shows and great voices.
Among the Olympic and world champions this year, the audience in Zurich, Lausanne, Davos and Basel greeted the Swiss crowd favorites Stéphane Lambiel, Kaetlyn Osmond, Elena Radionova, Elladj Baldé, Aleksandra Stepanova & Ivan Bukin, Aljona Savchenko & Bruno Massot and Tatiana Volosozhar & Maxim Trankov.
Singer-songwriter James Blunt and Swiss pop and soul queen Stefanie Heinzmann performed live while the top athletes showed amazing ice-skating, dancing and acrobatic moves on stage. This year’s theme – “Time to Time” – was a steampunk genre that invited the spectators into a fantastical and adventurous voyage back to the future, highlighting such elements as steam powered mechanics, Victorian clothing styles, and a lot of fantasy and adventure romance.
Next year Art On Ice will celebrate its 25th birthday and the special anniversary program will be shown from the 6th till 16th of February 2020.
