Also this year I had the chance to attend the after show party of Art On Ice. You will find last year’s party impressions in my blogpost.
This year the red carpet and party took place in the new hotel in Zurich – “Kameha Grand” which is situated not far from Hallen Stadion. In a spacey and nicely decorated room guests, athletes and musicians arrived just one hour after the show, gave interviews and posed for the photographers. I was happy to have a small chat with Swiss figure skater Stéphane Labiel, who told me that he loves the event and is a good friend of the Russian skater Maxim Trankov, who also was a part of the show together with his wife Tajana Volosozhar.
Exquisite snacks, drinks and desserts were very tasty and singers on stage were giving their best at entertaining the guests. I enjoyed meeting new people and had fun together with world famous athletes and musicians (Jessie J and the Jacksons were there as well).

I find it a nice thing that Art On Ice gave people the opportunity to buy tickets for the after show party. VIP packages on their website always have this option. It’s a very special experience and they make it possible for everyone, not only press or industry members.
