Swiss based company Acronis, a global leader in cyber protection, celebrated its 15-year anniversary by expanding its corporate HQ in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. Acronis’ backup, storage and technologies are used to protect engineering and field test data and production lines. Founded in Singapore, the company has grown into a global leader in cyber protection and storage with over 100 patents and 26 offices across 18 countries.
Local government official Cornelia Stamm Hurter, the financial minister of Schaffhausen Peter Neukomm, CEO of Acronis Serguei Beloussov and Acronis president John Zanni were present during the celebration in a beautiful office in the upper Rhine River region and talked about the company’s plans, increasing job offers in the region and technological achievements.
Today numerous automotive brands use Acronis cyber protection technology solutions to protect their data. They help the drivers on the track and engineers in the factory. One such brand is the most successful team in the short history of the FIA Formula E Championship – Renault e.dams that participates at the E-Prix in Switzerland on the 10th of June 2018.
During the celebration ceremony in Schaffhausen professional racing drivers Swiss Sébastien Buemi (Renault e.dam Formula E driver) and New Zealander Chris Vlok showed their appreciation to the company and gave interviews to the national and international media.
