The luxury menswear brand Ermenegildo Zegna has recently reopened its flagship boutique in Zurich in the main shopping street Bahnhofstrasse, just next to Paradeplatz. The new store features 265 square meters of selling space and chic and classy design created by Zegna’s in-house architects.
The Ermenegildo Zegna has a strong presence across Switzerland, having wholesale corners, a corner store inside the famous Bongénie department store in Geneva and a boutique in Lugano.
The history of the Italian brand dates back to 1910 when it was founded in the Biella Alps by the young entrepreneur Ermenegildo. Ermenegildo had a vision to create the world’s finest textiles out of the fibers directly from their markets of origin.
Today the company is managed by the fourth generation of the Zegna family, Gildo Zegna who personally attended the reopening in Zurich. I was pleased to join the in-store cocktail event, discover the latest collection and meet Mr. Zegna!
