Mode Suisse Edition 10

This September Mode Suisse, the contemporary Swiss fashion designer show founded by Yannick Aellen in 2011, celebrated its 10th edition.

I was amazed at just how feminine and colourful this year’s collections were! Here are my highlights of this anniversary edition:

• Julian Zigerli: mostly men’s fashion, but some pieces are unisex and there are dresses as well

• Lida Noba: I have already mentioned Lida in this article. This year she also launched a men’s fashion line and very elegant dresses in pastel colours.

• En Soie: as usual colourful and creative. Here is my post about this designer brand.

• Julia Seemann: newcomer Julia Seemann is really worth remembering . Loved the shiny fabric a lot and unique prints!

• Lyn Lingerie

• Stein Rohner

• Mourjjan

• Blank Etiquette

Mode Suisse 2016 received support from Engagement Migros, a development fund of the Migros Group, as well as ZSIG – The Zurich Silk Association. I enjoyed the show, and I was glad to see more upcoming Swiss designers!
