The second edition of the Swiss Deluxe Hotels Media Summit took place in May at the Dolder Grand Hotel in Zürich.
In the digital age, mastery of the intricacies of the digital realm is indispensable. Successful communication relies on a number of factors, such as being readily available, well-informed, and responsive to a wide array of audiences.
At the Swiss Deluxe Hotels Media Summit, pivotal topics such as this – guided by respected industry professionals, including those in the online marketing, public relations, social media, and strategic communications spheres – were explored and discussed in detail.
In particular, the areas of online strategies, social media, and marketing – as well as strategic communications, media relations, and PR – were on the agenda during the two-day summit, which was kicked off by two keynote speakers.
The first of them was Thomas Städeli, CEO of Publicis, Zürich, and Cathy Nyffenegger, Business Director of Publicis Luxe, Switzerland, who spoke about how a new group of buyers is redefining the rules of luxury. The second, Dr. Felicitas Morhart, Professor of Marketing at the University Lausanne and Founder of the Swiss Center for Luxury Research, who focused on branding and the topic of “Luxury in Times of Changing Values.”

Darya von Bergen from SwissGlam talked about trends and techniques for content creation in the luxury hospitality sector and shared successful influencer hotel partnership tactics.
