Traditional Japanese food with a creative touch served at Kai Sushi.
The Kai Sushi team serves sushi prepared by hand, complemented by homemade sauces made from quality ingredients. Committed to sustainability, its fish is sourced only from sustainable fisheries — and the chicken and beef locally in Switzerland.
Similarly, Kai Sushi respects the traditions of Japanese cuisine and its attention to detail. The chef prepares Kai Sushi’s sushi rice by hand in a hangiri and grills traditionally on the robatayaki grill.
Kai Sushi has 3 locations in Zürich: Oerlikon, Lessing, and Schiffbau. The branch in Oerlikon hosts a “Sushi all you can eat” event featuring Japanese tapas and desserts every Saturday & Sunday evening from 17:00 for 79 CHF (for children up to 12 years old — 30 CHF).
The Kai Boat private sushi cruise is a great idea for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The boat can be rented for tours of Lake Zürich, inclusive of catering, crew, and equipment, all year round. For those interested in participating in sushi classes, workshops, and Kai Sushi’s development kitchen, there’s also the Kai Lab.
