In the evening of the 1st September 2022 in Zurich, an event celebrating successful women took place. At the Aura event location in downtown Zurich, the champagne house, Veuve Clicquot, presented awards to two successful female entrepreneurs in the presence of Veuve Clicquot’s Chief Executive Officer, Jean-Marc Gallot. The prize was awarded in Switzerland for the 17th time and honors the keen entrepreneurial spirit and social dedication of female leaders around the world.
The Italian doctor, Antonella Santuccione Chadha, whose company headquarters are based in Thurgau, Switzerland, gracefully accepted the Veuve Clicquot Bold Woman Award 2022. A talented physician in the fields of clinical pathology, neuroscience, and psychiatric disorders, she received the honorable award for being an absolute pioneer in the field of Alzheimer’s research.
She was nominated by a jury of seven, including world-renowned personalities such as entrepreneur Karina Berger; soccer star and entrepreneur, David Degen; Executive Vice-President of Human Resources and Synergies at the LVMH Group, Chantal Gaemperle; former elite tennis player, Martina Hingis; Editor-in-Chief of the daily newspaper LE TEMPS, Madeleine von Holzen; TV presenter and entrepreneur, Patrizia Laeri, and Head of Consumer Magazines at Ringier Axel Springer Schweiz AG, Stefan Regez.
Fanny Queloz, an entrepreneur from the French-speaking part of Switzerland, received the Veuve Clicquot Bold Future Award 2022 after blowing away the four-member jury consisting of three former Bold Woman Award winners – Babette Keller Liechti (KT Home AG & Keller Trading), Bea Petri (Schminkbar) and Barbara Lax (Little Green House) – and the winner of the 2019 Bold Future Award, Olga Dubey (AgroSustain). Winner Queloz is a young entrepreneur and administrator of a unique Arts & Design Manufacturer. Her company in Chaux-de-Fonds, was founded in 2019 and offers exclusive handmade creations of the watchmaking craft. The 32-year-old is committed to preserving and developing this craft so that her company can continue to establish itself in a niche market.
The prize, which was awarded for the second time in Switzerland, stands for young, innovative and socially committed female entrepreneurs whose businesses are no older than three years old.
