In the recently renovated Grand Hotel Quellenhof at the Resort Bad Ragaz, which just celebrated its 150th anniversary, new restaurants and bars were opened to welcome the guests to the new design.
One of them is a masterpiece by the Swiss chef Sven Wassmer – the Swiss fine dining restaurant Memories which serves modern cuisine from the Swiss Alps. Gourmets will find the most exquisite culinary experience here, enjoying gorgeously crafted 9- or 12-course seasonal meals combined with the best wines from the chef’s collection.
“Memories and emotions are closely intertwined – and that’s what my team and I want to evoke in our guests” says the 32- year-old chef about the name of his restaurant.
Sven Wassmer’s signature restaurant offers visitors (who can stop by without reservation) the chance to take a seat at an open show kitchen and observe his cooking process along with his team. It was definitely also our first-choice dinner seating location and just happened to turn into a true culinary show. The Swiss Alpine kitchen dishes were made with so much attention, precision and dedication, and tasted just heavenly!
